Our Client are a leading player in the space industry, they deliver innovative space technologies and solutions for launch vehicles, satellite systems and space exploration missions. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Propulsion Engineer.Your Key Responsibilities:Take the lead in the planning, development, and analysis of propulsion technologies, such as liquid, solid, and hybrid rocket engines. Conduct a thorough performance analysis for propulsion systems, taking into account heat management, combustion, and fluid flow. Oversee the propulsion systems' and components' testing and qualification to make sure they adhere to industry standards and project specifications. Work together with engineering teams from various disciplines, including as systems, avionics, and structures, to guarantee the smooth integration of propulsion systems. Support the professional growth of junior engineers by offering them technical leadership and mentoring. Assist in the creation of technical documentation, such as certification paperwork, test plans, and design reports. Keep abreast of the most recent developments in propulsion technology and help to ensure that our propulsion systems are continuously improved. Assist with propulsion-related project management tasks, such as budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. As a propulsion subject matter expert, represent the company at industry conferences, technical meetings, and customer interactions. Your Qualifications and Requirements:Master's or doctoral degree with a focus on propulsion systems in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a similar discipline. 7-10 years of minimum experience designing and developing propulsion systems, ideally in the space sector. Thorough understanding of liquid, solid, and hybrid rocket propulsion technology. Expertise in using modelling and simulation software for propulsion systems, including FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Practical experience evaluating propulsion systems, including data analysis, instrumentation, and engine test stands. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to function well in a hurried, team-oriented setting. Effective communication abilities, including the capacity to explain complicated technical concepts to audiences with and without technical background. Fluent in English;

knowledge of French is advantageous.
