Our client is an innovative biotechnology company focused on developing advanced CAR-T immunotherapies for the treatment of various types of cancer. These groundbreaking treatments are administered directly in the hospital, resulting in faster outcomes and improved accessibility for patients. At their newly established location in Leiden, they are looking for a (Senior) Technician Quality Control to join their team. Job Description: As a (Senior) Technician Quality Control, you are responsible for performing routine tests on both our products and incoming goods. You will utilise analytical and microbiological techniques such as Flow Cytometry, ELISA, and PCR methods. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting method validation, method transfers, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will work according to GMP guidelines and contribute to the implementation and adherence to these standards. Responsibilities : Conduct routine testing for release, characterisation, immune monitoring, incoming goods, and environmental monitoring. Assist with method transfers, validation, and qualification. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment. Support the maintenance of an efficient GMP laboratory. Participate in laboratory investigations and deviations. Contribute to continuous improvement projects. Manage the availability of (critical) reagents and consumables. Provide training to fellow QC technicians. Act as a point of contact for questions related to lab practices and documentation. Write work instructions and SOPs. Profile : BSc/MSc in life sciences, biotechnology, or engineering. At least 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company as a process engineer. Experience with techniques such as Flow Cytometry, ELISA, and PCR. Proficient in English. Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and strong communication skills. Terms of Employment: Salary: €3000 - €5000 per month, depending on experience.
