With growing international sales, the company is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Lead, not only to assist in supporting our sales team in our traditional markets, but to also develop new areas for our business, whether it be in existing sectors or completely new business areas.This a full-time, permanent position to be based in Marseille, France, with occasional domestic and international travel to attend exhibitions, conferences and meetings.

ABOUT YOU

You will have· a Degree, or equivalent qualification, in an engineering or business discipline.· at least 5 years of a proven technical sales record.· previous experience in technical and commercial negotiation in a business-to-business context· a practical knowledge of subsea ROV/Diving inspection and/or marine operations· excellent interpersonal skills with multi-cultural clients and be a native English speaker or have a proven spoken and written capability in English. The ability to converse in French would be advantageous but not critical.· a pro-active mindset and a customer-oriented approach· excellent networking, communication, presentation skills, negotiation and influencing skills· the ability to qualify customers, overcome objections and close a sale.· knowledge of standard Microsoft software products· the confidence to present technical subjects at industry conferences and at client meetings· have an all-round understanding of the competitive landscape. ABOUT THE JOB

IVM Technologies, a developer of advanced underwater photogrammetry equipment, currently has a vacancy for a Business Development Lead. This a full-time, permanent position to be based in Marseille France with partial working from home opportunity and occasional travel to attend exhibitions and conferences in France and abroad. Working closely with the CEO, you will join a stimulating and fast pace environment with true opportunities for growth. RESPONSABILITES

· Study and analyse markets, monitor our competitors and identify new areas of business suitable for our technology or technological capabilities.· Present IVM Technologies products to potential customers in a positive and accurate way.· Develop a strengths and weakness matrix for the company· Advise on the selection of marketing opportunities e.G. exhibitions, target countries and advertising.· Analyze customers’ requirements· Respond to customers and prospects queries in timely manner· Liaise with our technical team regarding system capabilities and future developments· Generate, issue and follow up commercial quotes· Follow up ongoing contracts until their effective closure· Analyze contract outcomes· Assist in the preparation and manning of stands at domestic and international demonstrations, exhibitions, trade shows and conferences.· Further duties will include delivering sales presentations at meetings with customers and at trade shows and conferences, to promote understanding of the features, advantages, and usage of the client's products/tools.· Maintain contacts with customers to gain an understanding of their plans for projects that may require the client's tools.· Communicate directly with the customers at all stages of a sales opportunity.· Assist with creation of marketing material (e.G. press releases, advertisements, and articles in industry magazines and periodicals).· Support the maintenance of the IVM Technologies website content and social media accounts.· Populate and maintain the CRM in a timely and accurate fashion.· Perform day to day sales responses to customer requests· Work with our international sales team, agents and distributors to a positive, efficient and personable service is provided to our existing and potential customers to achieve pre-set sales targets IVM Technologies offers a stimulating and enriching work environment in a high added-value.
