Additional supplemental insurance availablePaid meal breaks with complimentary meals served in our Staff Dining roomLearning programs through our Academies401K Retirement plans with a 4% match for all colleaguesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activitiesFun, elegant atmosphere with amazing colleagues!Key Responsibilities:Maintain the appropriate appearance of the bar in accordance with county health and department standards.Ensure that all service items and stock are prepared for the shift.Remain attentive to the needs and requests of the customers.Treat customers with courtesy and respect.Follows all applicable safety procedures.Is at all times appropriately groomed and adheres to the uniform standards.Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Fairmont standard drink recipes.Learn the names and personally recognize guests.Record drink orders accurately and immediately input them into the POS.Accept guests’ payments, process credit card charges accurately make change (if applicable).Wash, sterilize, and polish glassware.Prepare garnishes for drinks.Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food & beverages.Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant or bar manager.Fill out daily requisition sheet for alcohol, dry stock, and non-alc itemsQualificationsQualifications and Skills:At least 1-year bartending experience preferably in a high-volume environmentLuxury experience & knowledge of LQA standards preferredStrong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage trends, and a wide range of spirits, wines, and cocktails.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.Food Handers Card and MAST permit required.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.We are an equal opportunity employer.
