Our primary focus is on supporting the RS, MR, IGT, and DXR production departments through the design, manufacture, and maintenance of specialized tools and equipment. As an Electrical/Software Equipment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and advancing software solutions that are scalable, modular, and aligned with digital innovations such as Industry 4.0 and Io T. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, while also providing leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Due to our support of the manufacturing department, this position is primarily on-site.Functie-eisen Responsibilities: Design, engineer, document, and enhance new and existing electrical appliances, test boxes, and test systems. Lead multidisciplinary projects (electrical, mechanical, and software), including monitoring project execution, progress, and costs. Manage engineers during assembly or installation tasks, and participate hands-on in assembly or installation work when necessary. Create detailed drawings and schematics (including assembly and mono drawings), bills of materials, and adhere to regulations. Maintain technical documentation for purchase parts in a comprehensive technical file and archives. Execute projects according to specifications, ensuring all necessary diagrams and drawings are available and up to date (TPD). Translate client requirements into feasible technical and financial specifications, incorporating all functional requirements and considerations for safety, ergonomics, standards, etc. Develop project budgets and timelines as needed. Communicate regularly with customers, providing clear updates on project progress and upcoming tasks to ensure transparency and alignment. Oversee the post-project phase, including drafting maintenance instructions and determining maintenance intervals. Establish required spare parts inventory based on potential errors and maintenance needs for installations or machinery. Serve as the primary contact for all matters related to electrical safety. 13th month salary (is paid out periodically pro rata) 8.33% holiday pay calculated over 12 monthly salaries. Contract form A one-year contract, but we would like to work towards a permanent contract;
